Tuesday 02nd May :  We meet at the airport at 6.00am for our Ryanair flight departing at 08.10am and arriving in Lourdes at 10.40am.  From here we depart by private coach to Hotel Christina 3*** in Lourdes.  Check in of rooms and lunch.  We then visit the Grotto of Massabielle and various other places of interest like the Boly windmill, where Bernardette was born and where she lived until she was 10yrs old.  We will also visit the Cachot - a room in an abandoned prison where her family lived, and the Parish Church where she was baptised.  Dinner at hotel.

Wednesday 03rd May :  After breakfast we attend the International Mass in St. Pius X Basilica.  Lunch in hotel followed by an optional excursion to Pont d'Espagne which forms part of the National Park of The Pyrenees, where we will enjoy the beautiful scenery and various waterfalls.  Dinner at hotel and at 9.00pm we take part in the Aux Flambeaux procession.

Thursday 04th May :  Breakfast and a full day optional excursion to St. Jean de Luz, a Cosmopolitan city with Spanish influence.  We visit the historic city and afterwards we go to Col d'Ibardin from where we will have fantastic views and an opportunity to do some shopping.  Dinner at hotel.
Note:  Today there will be no lunch

Friday 05th May :  After breakfast, we will attend mass in one of the Churches at the Santuary. Afterwards we will visit the three Basilicas,followed by the Via Crucis. We will then have a group photo in commemoration of this pilgrimage and we will then go for lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon we will have another optional excursion to Gavarnie with a stop at Pont du Napoleon.  Gavarnie is a village in the mountains at an altititute of 1357m above sea.  Once can also take a pony ride (extra).  Dinner at hotel and then we will proceed to Lourdes airport for our Air Malta flight which departs at 10.25pm and arrives in Malta at 00.40am.
